Research lab for flow in biomedical and energy systems
Welcome to the Ariel Biofluid and Energy Lab (ABmC)
In the Ariel Biofluid and Energy Lab, we focus on the complex interactions between fluids and structures using experimental and numerical methods.
Specific Research Interests:
-
Fluid dynamics in biomedical and energy systems using experimental, numerical, and analytical methods.
-
Hemodynamics and vascular remodeling in the cardiovascular system and of cardiovascular devices;
-
Flow control and optimization of fluid and gas in energy systems, including fuel cells, hydrogen generators, microturbines, fuel and gas pipes, microfluidics, the flow of Swarmbots, etc.
-
Numerical methods for simulating fluid and structure interaction in models involving complex geometry, unsteady flow, and moving boundaries
